Oxfordshire’s newest and brightest radio station shines a light on the county’s buzzing property market with the launch of a brand new show Home Truths.
Get Radio’s super-charged duo of presenters are award-winning property professionals, husband-and-wife Michael and Lucy Joerin, co-founders of bespoke Oxfordshire estate agency Stowhill Estates.
“We’re really excited about the show!” said Lucy. “We’ll be here every Monday evening covering all aspects of the property business – insight and analysis, top tips on buying and selling, how to add value to your home, how to present it for a fast sale.
“We are going to be covering it all, chatting to special guests from the Oxfordshire property world, answering listeners’ questions, and all in an upbeat and fun format alongside musical hits from the past four decades – it is going to be mega!”
Michael is equally excited: “My inner thespian is dying to emerge, and perhaps radio is the forum!”
Guests will include a host of house buying-and-selling experts – solicitors to decipher the legalities, photographers and home-stagers on how to prepare and show your home at its best, removals companies on the nuts and bolts of moving on, and many more . . .
Michael and Lucy bring with them years of experience in sales and marketing. Seeing a niche for their unique style, they launched Stowhill Estates five years ago, and have been making waves in the Oxfordshire property scene ever since, with a band of happy and satisfied clients.
“Our aim is to refresh and rejuvenate interest in property by using innovative and creative marketing methods, presenting gorgeous country homes in the light they deserve,” Michael revealed.
“We’re not typical estate agents. We understand what it takes to sell a unique home and our distinctive and bespoke marketing services consistently help our clients sell their homes quicker and for a higher price.”
The Home Truths presenters promise lots of fun and frolics in tandem with the property nitty gritty, including anecdotes to make you laugh.
“We have a rich seam of funny stories – they could only happen to an estate agent!” laughed Michael.
The couple, who have two young daughters, Milly and Rose, are currently in the midst of their own house move – from Childrey to Burford – bringing the property highs and lows into even sharper focus.
