Acclaimed folk duo Chris While and Julie Matthews will perform at St Helen’s Church in Abingdon on Thursday 15 October as part of Music At The Unicorn’s 2026 programme.
The pair, who are celebrating 30 years since their debut, have performed more than 3,000 concerts worldwide and appeared on more than 100 albums during their career.
Known for their original songwriting and vocal harmonies, While and Matthews have built audiences in the UK and overseas, including through regular tours of Australia and New Zealand.
Their songs cover a range of subjects, including political and social issues alongside stories inspired by real life. The duo also run their own record label and publishing company and record and produce music from their own studio.

The concert at St Helen’s Church will also feature support from local singer-songwriter Adam Matthews.
Doors open at 7pm, with music beginning at 7.15pm.
Music At The Unicorn’s programme at St Helen’s continues with Gilmore & Roberts on 5 November, followed by Janice Burns & John Doran on 3 December.
